Keep shared addresses working
After sharing a short link or printing its QR code, keep the short-link alias unchanged. Edit its destination URL when the content moves, then open the public link or scan the printed code again. For destinations that will change, set HTTP Status → 302 Temporary redirect before first sharing; a cached 301 can keep taking returning visitors to an old destination. Read the redirect-status guidance.
Save bio-page changes with the relevant Update button. Check the public page and its buttons after saving. For app-aware links, test supported destinations on the phones and browsers your audience uses; app opening depends on the device, browser and installed app.
