NFC sharing

Connect a compatible NFC card or tag to a ti-ny.link URL. Share a bio page or contact link, update the destination and test the tap experience.

What does an NFC card share?

A compatible NFC card or tag can store a URL that a supported phone reads when brought close to it. Use a ti-ny.link address to lead people to a bio page, contact details, menu or other online destination.

The card stores the address; the linked content is managed online. You will need compatible NFC hardware and a way to write a URL to it. Follow your hardware provider’s setup instructions.

Connect a card or tag to your page

  1. Choose a destination, such as a bio page or vCard link.
  2. Create a dynamic short link to that destination and open it to check the result.
  3. Use the NFC provider’s writing tool to store the full public URL, including https://, on the card or tag.
  4. Read the card with compatible phones and follow any prompt to open the URL.
  5. Confirm that the intended page opens and its links or contact file work.

Phone settings, hardware and the placement of a tag can affect reading. Test the finished item in the context where people will use it.

Change what the card opens

Edit the destination behind the dynamic short link and keep the short-link alias unchanged. Test the card again after saving.

This approach can keep a business card or display useful when you move a portfolio, change an offer or update the page you want to share. The short link must remain active for the stored address to work.

Offer a QR code alongside the card

A printed QR code or visible short URL gives people another way to reach the page. Use separate short links for NFC and QR placements if you want to compare their recorded activity.

A physical tap is not the same as a recorded link visit. Read the Analytics guide to understand what the link statistics can tell you.
