vCard links
Share downloadable contact details with a ti-ny.link vCard link. Test the contact file and connect it to a QR code or compatible NFC card.
Share downloadable contact details
A vCard link gives people a URL for your contact details in a .vcf file. Use it in an email signature, bio page or digital business card.
The recipient’s browser and contacts app determine whether the file is previewed, downloaded or offered for import. The recipient may need to confirm saving the contact.
Create and test a vCard link
- Prepare the contact details you want to share, such as your name, organisation, phone number, email and website.
- Open Vcard links → Vcard link. Choose a Short URL or leave it blank, then select Create Vcard URL. The initial dialog creates the address; complete the contact fields in the resulting settings and save before sharing.
- Save the link, open its public URL and download or preview the contact file.
- Test the file on the devices and contacts apps your recipients use. Check names, phone numbers and URLs after import.
- Share the tested address. Review it again whenever your contact details change.
Include only the information you intend to make available to recipients. Available fields and vCard-link allowances depend on your account; compare plan details.
Add a QR code or NFC card
Connect a dynamic QR code to a short link leading to your vCard. Keeping the short-link alias unchanged lets you change its destination later without replacing that QR code.
For a compatible NFC card or tag, write the public URL using the hardware provider’s instructions. Follow the NFC sharing guide and test the card on real devices before distributing it.
Review link activity
Link statistics can show recorded visits. They do not confirm that someone saved your contact details. Read the Analytics guide when interpreting results from a networking event or campaign.
